陜西太平國(guó)家森林公園位于陜西省西安市鄠邑區(qū)太平峪內(nèi)，距西安44公里，咸陽60公里，總面積6085公頃。是秦嶺北麓著名的國(guó)家AAAA級(jí)旅游景區(qū)，被聯(lián)合國(guó)教科文組織確定為世界地質(zhì)公園，榮獲陜西省、西安市服務(wù)業(yè)名牌，年度自然魅力景區(qū)等多項(xiàng)榮譽(yù)。 

景區(qū)年平均氣溫7-10℃，森林覆蓋率96%以上，原始森林保護(hù)完整，資源豐富、種類繁多，有“天下紫荊，源系太平”之說！

太平國(guó)家森林公園，風(fēng)景宜人，景區(qū)分為：石門、黃羊壩、棲禪谷（月宮潭）、樺林灣、秦嶺梁五大景區(qū)。漫步園中賞盡四季美景，春觀天然萬畝紫荊花海，夏游奇山秀水八瀑白練，秋賞漫山紅葉色彩斑斕，冬覽玉樹瓊枝冰雕玉琢原始松林。

主要以石景、花景和水景為主題

沿路而行，怪石嶙峋，兩山夾峙，懸崖陡峭，清流之畔，野花送香。景區(qū)以歐陽洵題字的巨石“石門”而得名，這里怪石嶙峋，山回路轉(zhuǎn)，巨石形態(tài)各異從而形成了一個(gè)個(gè)栩栩如生的景觀。

這里是“鮮花”于“瀑布”的海洋，從天然萬畝紫荊花海至千尺彩虹飛瀑，流水縈回，山花爛漫，清香溢遠(yuǎn)，尤其八瀑十八潭在我國(guó)北方獨(dú)領(lǐng)風(fēng)騷。這里共有大小瀑布12處，瀑布最大落差達(dá)到百余米，水流順巨石噴濺而下，四散的水花由于陽光的反射和折射形成數(shù)道彩虹，唯美壯觀。

月宮潭（棲禪谷）分景區(qū)

景區(qū)面積1240公頃，全長(zhǎng)3.3公里，南北走向,全程為無障礙設(shè)計(jì)。谷內(nèi)四季環(huán)境清雅、奇花異草應(yīng)時(shí)開放；河道終年清流不斷，飛瀑幽潭隨處可見；山勢(shì)險(xiǎn)峻連綿，石峽深邃；蟲鳴鳥語，動(dòng)靜相宜。

谷內(nèi)月宮潭、憐心瀑、地隙潭等優(yōu)美的自然景觀，都有美好的故事流傳下來，令人回味。鳩摩羅什生平故事和十八羅漢等雕塑突出了佛教文化的意味。佛教文化主題使前來此地的游客朋友們?cè)谙硎茏匀幻谰暗耐瑫r(shí)也能夠了解鳩摩羅什大師一生的傳奇故事，彰顯他翻譯佛經(jīng)、弘揚(yáng)佛法，為古代中外文化交流所做出的巨大貢獻(xiàn)。

秦嶺梁分景區(qū)

景區(qū)山勢(shì)險(xiǎn)峻，峭壁林立，森林茂密，讓您融入大自然，使您真正體會(huì)到原始森林風(fēng)光的自然樂趣。

樺林灣景區(qū)

蒼勁古老的落葉松原始純林，頂風(fēng)傲雪的冷杉純林，這里分布著成片的天然紅樺林。樹干赤紅，剝落的皮層隨風(fēng)飄舞，據(jù)說紅樺皮是過去男女之間表達(dá)愛情的信物野生動(dòng)物常出沒于林間，煞是奇特。紅樺迎風(fēng)的景觀由此得名。
